Explore Music is Sydney’s first nature-led music school. Founded after years of experiments and explorations on the piano, you will learn things that are not taught at any other music school. You will learn how to be in the present, how to relax, how to connect with music—and ultimately, how to connect with yourself through music.

“No music school in Sydney focuses on mindfulness as much as we do. After being in the industry for more than a decade, I knew the whole music and education industry needs to undergo a revolution, and we are the first to address it. We are putting efforts in creating a fresh, holistic approach that makes learning music enjoyable, interactive and explorative.”

why us?

We live in a world that rarely pauses.

When was the last time you paused—truly slowed down—and connected with yourself through nature or music?

In an age of modern technology, our attention spans are shrinking. Explore Music begins with a simple belief: music and nature are not escapes from life—they are the essence of it.

Growing up surrounded by both nature and music, Kelly developed a deep connection to each. The rhythm of the natural world and the language of sound are not separate—they reflect each other. Both invite stillness, awareness, and presence.

Before music becomes performance, it begins with listening. Not just to notes on a piano, but to silence, to breath, to the subtle details of sound and environment. Whether walking through nature or sitting at the instrument, the first step is always the same: to Return to Awareness.

Explore Music is not just about learning piano or creating sound.

It is about slowing down in a fast world, reconnecting with nature, and discovering that the most meaningful music begins within us.

This philosophy lives at the core of Explore Music.
